The event, overseen by UNSECO, is a friendly coming together of three cultures: Arab, Christian, and Jewish; is set to take place against the magnificent backdrop of the Royal Monastery at Santa Maria de Valldigna, Valencia, Spain, from Friday June 13th to Sunday June 16th, 2014.
Friday will see the inaugural events Mara Aranda and J Martinez interpreting ‘Sad Was King David’, and Carles Magraner and Pilar Esteban interpreting a cantico from Santa Maria.
Factum Maris is the motto for this three day event whose focus is the Mediterranean as birthplace of science and home of wisdom.
Saturday June 14th will see Mara Aranda perform alongside group Capella de Ministrers in a concert to be given at the Royal Monastery itself.
The whole event is to presided over by HRH Prince Felipe de Borbon just days before he is due to crowned King Felipe VI of Spain.
